Radenci, 4. junija – Ponedeljkovo neurje je hudo prizadelo kraj Boračeva v Občini Radenci. Kot je danes povedal župan Radencev Roman Leljak, je bilo poplavljenih okoli 100 hiš. “V hišah je bilo pol metra vode, v nekaterih tudi do štiri metre, poškodovane so tudi ceste. Škoda je zelo velika, po prvih ocenah bi rekel, da nekaj sto tisoč evrov,” je za STA še dejal Leljak.

Boračevo je okoli 18. ure zajel silovit, čeprav kratkotrajen naliv, ki je trajal okoli 15 minut. Po Leljakovih besedah so se skupaj z gasilci in civilno zaščito takoj odpravili na teren, a je bil kraj nedostopen, do ljudi niso mogli.

“Ljudje so bili prepuščeni samim sebi in so brez elektrike čakali v višjih nadstropjih, da se voda umakne,” je pojasnil župan. Okrog 500 prebivalcem je povsem zalilo kleti, nekaterim tudi prva nadstropja domov. Voda se je umaknila okrog polnoči.

“Na žalost je prišel tak naliv, da nobena komunalna opremljenost česa takega ne bi mogla zadržati,” je dejal Leljak. Odločil se je, da bo na današnji izredni občinski seji predlagal občinskemu svetu v sprejetje sklep, da bodo vsem občanom, prizadetim v ponedeljkovih poplavah, namenili po 1000 evrov občinske pomoči.

Po županovi oceni je bila ključna za dogodek ogromna količina dežja, ki je padel v zelo kratkem času. Meni pa, da tudi komasacije na bližnjih poljih pred leti niso pripomogle k temu, da se kaj takega ne bi zgodilo, je dodal.

“Sinočnje količine vode so zelo presegle normalne količine dežja, tega se ne da zanikati, tako da se včeraj Boračeva in Radenci v nobenem primeru ne bi rešili poplav. A v preteklosti so s komasacijami, ko so delali velike obdelovalne površine, zasipali nekatere manjše potoke in jarke in vse skupaj speljali v le en potok, kar je seveda napaka. A včeraj bi bile poplave v vsakem primeru,” je še dodal Leljak.

Podrobnejšo oceno škode bodo v občini naredili v naslednjih dneh. Zaenkrat Leljak ocenjuje, da je na občinski infrastrukturi škode za okrog 400.000 evrov, na zasebnih stavbah pa prav tako več sto tisoč evrov.
