V okolici krajev Donja Jablanica in Konjic v osrednjem delu Bosne in Hercegovine se danes nadaljuje iskanje pogrešanih po obsežnih poplavah in plazovih, ki so območje prizadeli minuli konec tedna. Uradno je potrjenih 16 smrtnih žrtev. V državo je na pomoč že prispelo več reševalnih ekip iz tujine, tudi iz Slovenije.

Uradno je potrjenih 16 smrtnih žrtev, od tega 15 v Donji Jablanici in ena v Konjicu, je za STA potrdil tiskovni predstavnik Hercegovsko-neretvanskega kantona Darko Juka. Dodal je, da je v Donji Jablanici trenutno prijavljenih pet pogrešanih oseb, v Konjicu pa štiri.

Reševalne ekipe se morajo pri iskanju prebijati skozi ruševine, ki so ponekod še vedno pod vodo, saj je z manjšimi presledki deževalo še ves konec tedna. Več kot deset vasi na območju Konjica po poročanju Radiotelevizije BiH (BHRT) še vedno ni dobilo pomoči zaradi obsežne škode na cestah. Težko dostopni ali nedostopni so zlasti nekateri višje ležeči zaselki.

Na terenu sta poleg domačih tudi reševalni ekipi iz Hrvaške in Srbije, po navedbah virov STA je v BiH že prispel tudi konvoj iz Slovenije z mehanizacijo in reševalnimi ekipami. Slovenski konvoj bo po besedah tiskovnega predstavnika Juke napoten v Konjic, saj so potrebe v Jablanici trenutno že pokrite. Ob tem se je zahvalil Sloveniji za pomoč.

Prek evropskega mehanizma za civilno zaščito bodo reševalce, opremo ali humanitarno pomoč v BiH poleg Slovenije, Hrvaške in Srbije poslale tudi Albanija, Severna Makedonija, Črna gora, Poljska, Slovaška in Turčija, poroča hrvaška tiskovna agencija Hina.

Ob tem so oblasti za zahod, vzhod in sever Hercegovine ter za del Osrednjebosanskega kantona izdale novo oranžno opozorilo zaradi padavin, poroča portal N1 BiH. Danes in v torek naj bi bilo sicer stanje stabilno, vremenoslovci pa obilne padavine znova pričakujejo v torek pozno zvečer in v noči na sredo, zato v hidrometeorološkem zavodu BiH svarijo prebivalce prizadetih območij, naj bodo pripravljeni.
