Bolgarija odpira državne trgovine s hrano: Nizke cene in poudarek na lokalni pridelavi

Bolgarija uvaja novo verigo državnih trgovin pod imenom “Trgovina za ljudi“, ki naj bi zagotavljala osnovna živila z največ 10-odstotno maržo, obenem pa dajala prednost izdelkom bolgarskega porekla.

Pobudo vodi ministrstvo za kmetijstvo, katerega cilj je izboljšati dostopnost osnovnih živil, zlasti na revnejših in podeželskih območjih, kjer je inflacija prebivalstvo močno prizadela in je dostop do cenovno sprejemljive hrane omejen.

Minister za kmetijstvo Georgi Tahov je pred parlamentarno komisijo za kmetijstvo poudaril, da bo strategija usmerjena v podporo domačim proizvajalcem in skrajševanje dobavnih verig, kar bo koristilo tako potrošnikom kot lokalnim kmetom.

Cilj: trajnostna veriga od pridelovalca do kupca

Začetni kapital državnega podjetja, ki stoji za to trgovinsko verigo, znaša 5 milijonov evrov, vendar vlada načrtuje odprtje do 1.500 trgovin po vsej državi, zato se pričakuje, da se bodo sredstva znatno povečala.

„Naš cilj je zapreti krog med pridelovalcem in potrošnikom, ko gre za osnovne prehranske izdelke,“ je povedal Tahov in dodal, da si ministrstvo prizadeva za trajnostno distribucijo lokalno pridelane hrane.

Vladna ekipa že pripravlja seznam bolgarskih proizvajalcev, katerih izdelki bodo vključeni v ponudbo. Z neposrednim sodelovanjem z lokalnimi kmeti in živilsko industrijo želijo znižati stroške in povečati dostopnost kakovostne hrane.

Kritike opozicije, podpora s strani lokalnih skupnosti

Čeprav so bili prvi predlogi o državnih trgovinah predstavljeni že konec leta 2024, se projekt zdaj dejansko uresničuje – a ne brez kritik.

Opozicijske stranke in nekateri ekonomisti opozarjajo, da je večina trgovin načrtovana na manj razvitih območjih, kar bi lahko, po njihovem mnenju, omogočalo posreden politični vpliv na volilno telo pred volitvami.

Minister Tahov takšne očitke zavrača in poudarja, da gre za socialno usmerjen projekt, katerega namen je pokazati, da je tudi v malih mestih in ranljivih skupnostih mogoča drugačna, bolj vključujoča oblika trgovine.

„Nočemo konkurirati obstoječim verigam, temveč izboljšati dostop do osnovnih živil za tiste, ki trenutno nimajo bližnje trgovine,“ je še poudaril.
