Gosta megla otežuje reševalno akcijo po nesreči helikopterja iranskega predsednika

Teheran, 19. maja – Reševalne ekipe se ob gosti megli peš prebijajo do kraja nesreče helikopterja iranskega predsednika Ebrahima Raisija. Življenji Raisija in zunanjega ministra Hoseina Amir-Abdolahiana, ki je bil prav tako na krovu helikopterja, sta ogroženi, je za tiskovno agencijo Reuters povedal neimenovan iranski uradnik.

V pogovoru za iransko državno televizijo je notranji minister Ahmad Vahidi dejal, da reševalna prizadevanja ovirajo neugodne vremenske razmere in gosta megla ter da bo trajalo, preden dosežejo lokacijo nesreče. Ob tem je zagotovil, da so “stvari pod nadzorom”, navaja britanski BBC. Reševalcem nalogo dodatno otežuje dejstvo, da se bliža noč.

Po do zdaj znanih podatkih se je helikopter z Raisijem na krovu na poti iz Azerbajdžana znašel v težavah. Nekateri mediji so poročali o “trdem pristanku” na goratem območju med mestoma Džolfa in Varzakan v iranski provinci Vzhodni Azerbajdžan, drugi pa o nesreči.

Agencija Reuters medtem ob sklicevanju na neimenovanega uradnika poroča, da je helikopter strmoglavil in da sta življenji predsednika in prvega moža diplomacije ogroženi. “Še vedno upamo, vendar so informacije, ki prihajajo s kraja nesreče, zelo zaskrbljujoče,” je dejal uradnik.

Poleg predsednika in zunanjega ministra je bil na krovu helikopterja še guverner Vzhodnega Azerbajdžana Malek Rahmati in več drugih potnikov. Njihovo stanje ni znano, poročajo tuje tiskovne agencije.

V iskalni akciji sodeluje 40 reševalnih ekip. Reševalni helikopterji zaradi neugodnih vremenskih razmer in goste megle trenutno ne morejo vzleteti, pomagajo pa jim brezpilotni letalniki, navaja iranska televizijska mreža Press TV.

Ponesrečeni helikopter naj bi sicer potoval v konvoju treh helikopterjev. Druga dva, ki sta prevažala več ministrov in uradnikov, naj bi varno prispela na cilj.

Raisi, ki položaj predsednika Irana zaseda od junija 2021, se je sicer davi mudil v Azerbajdžanu, kjer je s tamkajšnjim predsednikom Ilhamom Alijevom slovesno odprl jez na reki Aras.
